Anne and I have been trying to convince Gracie to stay off of the living room couches. We will hopefully be buying some new ones in the near future, but would like to have Gracie learn to stay off them before we do so. Bless her canine heart, Gracie sheds like a crazy person (see "Gracie's Ghost" post below for further evidence).
In order to "help" Gracie to resist the temptation to get out the couch to look out the windows, from which she can see the front yard and street, we try to keep the blinds down when no one is home. Yesterday afternoon, though, the blinds were not down enough. I came into the living, from the kitchen, and there Gracie was... peeking through the one inch space in which she could sneak a peek of the action outside...
I bet a couple of those pesky squirrels were putting on a show on the front porch!
Woof-woof!

Your dog is absolutely beautiful. Her relationship with the cat is exactly as my springer with our cat. I really enjoyed the photos!
thanks! i had never had a springer before, but i really love their affectionate--if somehwat needy--personalities... well, Gracie's anyway! ;-)
